When you give a problem to God, do you still worry about it?

Hello Divas of the Divine,

My screen name is Febah and I am so blessed to be apart of positive Christian group such as this. Here is a little about me...

I am a 27 year old single mother of two wonderful boys. I have been separated from my husband for two years now, about to get a divorce. I have many struggles in my life and I know that if I give my worries to God, He will bring me out of my hard times. My greatest issue is letting go and let God. I would like to spiritually mature to be able to allow God to take care of my worries, and not to allow my worries to burden me. My Pastor taught a serum about God's promises and being obedient. It was in the Book of 1 Kings 12:25-33, God made Jeroboam King of ten nations. Even after Jeroboam witness God's power and how He dealt with Solomon and Rehoboam, Jeroboam still felt it was necessary to try to help God help himself. This is something that I know I do, even though I am not always aware of it.

My prayer for myself as well as the Divas of the Divine is, that we trust God and allow Him to have his way with us.

Lord God, I come to You in the name of Jesus my Lord and Savior, Ole Great and Magnificent God, God of Mercy and Forgiveness, please continue to forgive and have mercy on our worrisome souls. Lord God give of the strength and the courage to allow You to do Your will in our lives. We have some many wants and desires, but Lord You make sure we have what we need. Lord God, I just want to thank You. Thank You allow us to live another day. Thank You for loving us.

In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ I pray Amen.

New Member Empty Prayer for Febah

Post  Meek Tue Jan 22, 2008 5:22 pm

Lord,

I want to thank you for involving Febah in our online ministry. I pray that we can be a blessing to her and she to us.

Lord, you promise in your Word, that you will meet our needs, when we seek you first, Luke 12:31. I pray that you will show Febah what it means to seek you first and that you will be faithful to meet all her needs.

I pray that you will mature her spiritually and allow her to experience the hope and joy that comes from knowing you intimately.

In Jesus Name, we pray,

Amen!
